Scenic 30A is a major tourist attraction. It is an exciting and diverse mix of colors and vibes, with architecture distinguishing each beach community.
Traveling East to West, 30A begins in Inlet Beach which is home to Camp Helen State Park and 30Avenue. Neighboring Inlet Beach is one of the well known 30A communities, Rosemary Beach. Rosemary Beach is a 107-acre, gulf front Neo-traditional community home to high-end, custom built homes. Travel next door to Seacrest Beach, the home to The Village of South Walton and then a little further West To Aly’s Beach. Pass thru the tall white “butteries” and along the beautiful palm trees, the all white architecture of the homes make Aly’s Beach one-of-a-kind.
Driving further West, you enter Watersound Beach, home to a gated community with long winding boardwalks leading to the Gulf. After Watersound Beach, comes Seagrove and then Seaside. Seaside is the homes to white picket fences and cottage homes with food trailers lining 30A. Next door to Seaside is Watercolor and the Watercolor Resort. A fairly large community of around 500 acres is boarded by Western Lake and The Gulf of Mexico. Keep traveling West across Western Lake and you arrive in Grayton Beach, followed by Blue Mountain Beach, and then Dune Allen wraps up all of 30A.
Across the 12 beach communities one is sure to find a place to call home. With every neighborhood along scenic highway 30A having something different to offer, from architecture to activities, 30A is a family place that continues to grow and will for the years to come.
